JOHN S. FAERBER DDS, PA
John S. Faerber, DDS is thrilled to announce Dr. Cody Welding is joining our practice!
Dear Friends,
I have been very fortunate to have practiced dentistry for almost 43 years. Through those years I have had the pleasure of treating many wonderful patients and enjoying our relationships. Some of you went to my father H. Jack Faerber DDS and I thank you for your continued support and loyalty with our 64 year private practice!
I am delighted to have Dr. Cody Welding join the practice. I’ve known Dr. Welding for several years. We both have very similar backgrounds, in that we completed advanced General Practice Residencies (GPR’s) in hospital settings and also worked as associate dentists in large group practices. After Dr. Welding graduated near the top of his class from New York University Dental School and completing his GPR, he went on to practice as an associate dentist in Lawrence, KS for several years. Dr. Welding brings his knowledge and experience to the practice and will continue our tradition of providing compassionate quality patient care.
Dr. Welding hails from Dallas, however, now calls Kansas City his home. He followed his sister Kelsey to KC who was a nurse at Children’s Mercy, as he began his professional life. Shortly after he met his wife Giggy, who grew up in Leawood. Cody & Giggy were married September, 2024. In their spare time they love to walk, bike, explore new restaurants, travel and support KC sports. Cody is an Iowa State grad & frequently travels back to Ames for games. Giggy is a Mizzou fan, with a KU history. Her dad Jay Reardon and I were fraternity brothers at KU & longtime friends. Giggy also works around the corner from our office as a pediatric occupational therapist.
I will be transitioning the practice in April. You can expect the same unwavering support of Jennie, Liz, Taylor, and Deb. Our family will continue as patients with Dr. Welding. Kate and I will be spending more time with our grandchildren and family. We both enjoy fly fishing, gardening, and cooking together. Also looking forward to traveling more. I will truly miss the friendships and rapport with so many of you. I know you will like Dr. Welding. I will be leaving the practice in good hands. Thank you for your confidence through the years and taking the time to get to know Dr. Welding, he is a great dentist!
Sincerely,
John S. Faerber
Always looking into future technologies to benefit you.
